“[Editor’s Note – December 5, 2025] What a difference one year makes! What looked like a sure fire recipe for success quickly spoiled and went sour. After a strong 4-2 start, the 2024 Chicago Bears went on to have a 10 game losing streak before finishing the season 5-12. Prized rookie QB Caleb Williams went from looking like a Unanimous Rookie of the Year winner to looking like a fading starting QB who was going to get benched.

The 2025 season brought new head coach Ben Johnson (former Detroit Lions Offensive Coordinator) and three new additions to the offensive line. These additions have lead to a running attack that ranks in the Top 5 which has in turn led to a 9-3 Chicago Bears team that currently sits on top of the NFC. And what about their ‘Punky QB’? [No, not that one.]

Caleb Williams is quickly rising up the ranks of the NFL’s Top Quarterbacks and he is drawing praise from other coaches, commentators, and football fans. He is not yet at that “Elite” level, but if he keeps up his current level of progression, he will be there soon.

The Chicago Bears are quickly becoming the talk of the NFL! They’re off to a 4-2 start and a big part of that is because of the play of their rookie QB, #18, Caleb Williams, the overall #1 draft pick from USC. They have won three games in a row after a less than stellar start. In those three games, Williams has back to back 300+ yard passing games as well as a 4 touchdown pass game.

Has Chicago finally found a Superstar QB to lead them to the franchise’s second Super Bowl trophy? It is too early to start counting rings, but the forecast for Chicago football is looking bright!
