Bitter Taste is a reflective and haunting song from his 2021 EP, The Roadside. This melodic and melancholy song was inspired by his near-fatal motorcycle accident in 1990. It has been said that this accident kept Idol from accepting the T-1000 role (made famous by Robert Patrick) in the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton led, Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
