What do you get when you mix country music icon Dwight Yoakam with the one and only Post Malone? You get a little Bang Bang with a dose of Boom Boom!
I Don’t Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom) is a fun song, a fun music video, and a fun look into country music’s new fun friendship. Yoakam is back nine years after his last album, Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars…, and he’s brought with him his always unique and always appealing ‘Dwight Does Honky Tonk’ sound and flavor. To make things better, he’s even brought with him one of country’s newest faces, Post Malone.
Country Royalty…
Dwight Yoakam is a country music ‘OG’ and he has been entertaining audiences for 40 years now. His first release was back in 1984, a six-song independent release titled Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., which was the same name of his first full length album, released two years later in 1986. Aside from writing and performing his own collection of hit songs, including Fast As You, 1000 Miles From Nowhere, Little Ways, and Ain’t That Lonely Yet, he’s also covered legendary artists such as Elvis Presley (Suspicious Minds) and Queen (Crazy Little Thing Called Love).
The Fresh Prince…
Post Malone is new on the country music scene with his debut album, F-1 Trillion, which was released in August of this year. New on the country scene, he is not a stranger to audiences worldwide nor the top spots of the music charts. His debut single, White Iverson, hit #14 on the Billboard Charts in 2015. He’s a singer, rapper, songwriter, and performer, who like Yoakam, has his own unique style and charm.
What A Pair…
Yoakam and Malone make quite the pair, and we’re all here for it! Don’t be surprised if years from now we view the Dwight Yoakam-Post Malone relationship much the same way we viewed the Buck Owens-Dwight Yoakam pairing. Here’s the official music video for I Don’t Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)…
